About Us

Maritime Farrier School is a small independent school owned and operated by Peter and Ann Allen.

Peter Allen is an AFA certified farrier and holds a Bachelor of Education Degree (Majoring in I.A.) and is a graduate of Maritime Horseshoeing School. Ann Allen holds a Science Degree in Agricultural Economics, is an Equine Canada certified coach, as well as a nationally recognised judge.

They have many years experience in horse handling, health care, stable management and teaching.
